There are some things that I just can't stand! These are my pet peeves about dealing with the general public - going grocery shopping, for example.
Half naked people. Seriously, you lose your right to complain about public breastfeeding if I can see your a** cheeks, your hipbones and the majority of your breasts. I can't think of a valid reason for wearing such little clothing outside the bedroom, or the beach. If your bathing suit is so low cut, I can see your five o'clock shadow, you need to put some freaking clothes on. Ultra Low cut jeans. I don't need to see your butt crack. If I wanted to do that, I'd get a job answering phones at a plumber's shop.
People who use car seats wrong - babies strapped so loosely in infant seats that a sharp jostle would throw the kid from the seat.
People who think they're entitled to whatever they think is right. If the purple one is on sale, but the pink one is not, don't demand to buy the pink thing for the same price. It isn't the same thing!
Moms who shop and ignore their fussing infant. (I've been known to say loudly something akin to "Gee, if she didn't want to pay attention to the baby, why'd she have one!" or "That poor baby, what kind of a selfish parent lets their new baby scream like that!" )
Parents who let their kids whine, cajole and beg until they get whatever they want. Parents who allow or encourage kids to ride bicycles around stores, or play with skateboards.
Heelies - those things should be illegal. I know a family who lost their child because of a Heely related accident.
