About 4 years ago, I weighed 199lbs.  My husband, at the time, deployed, and in the 5 months he was gone, I went down to 145lbs...that's only 10lbs away from my goal weight!!  Let me tell you, I looked fantastic.  My abs and butt were tight, my thighs were smaller, and I could run 2 miles without bending over and wheezing!  I was so proud of myself.  Well, then, I went through a divorce.  I had to move back to Ohio from North Carolina.  I had to sell my beautiful house, and move up to a "not so nice" neighborhood.  I got very depressed, and I found a lot of comfort in food.  What little money I had, after losing my job, I spent on junk food.

Flash forward to 2008.  I found out in March that I was pregnant.  When they weighed me, I was at 167lbs after 2 weeks of horrific morning sickness, where I was barely able to keep down 1 saltine a day.  At the end of my pregnancy, I weighed in at 204lbs.  Right after my son was born, I dropped down to 180lbs, and that's where I've stayed!  It's very frustrating, because 5 months later, I weigh the same as I did a week after Carter was born.

Well, today I started Slimquick, and I have started drinking water EXCLUSIVELY.  No juice, no soda, no milk (I don't really drink milk anyhow, but the soda is my only source of caffiene), just water.  I will be using my Gazelle for 30 minutes a day, with the iPod that I bought for myself, for my cardio.  For strength training, I do my own mix of things.  I do leg lifts, arm work with free weights, crunches, and military style sit ups.

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Vegas for his birthday at the end of May.  I just don't want to look like a blimp compared to all the beautiful "show girls" in Vegas.  Plus, I have a ton of cute clothes that I can't wear anymore, and I want to get back into them!!  Also, I have a really poor body image right now, and I don't like that at all.  I want my abs and butt back, at least!

WISH ME LUCK!!!
