My husband and I have started the journey on adopting another baby. We adopted our son 17 months ago and he was our dream come true!! It has been the best time of our lives, and we can't wait to expand our family with another little angel.

We were certfied in the end of January and started placing adoption ads in the middle of February. It has been a month now. Well we received a few phone calls, but no leads just some strange offers. Well a week ago we got a call from a friend of ours and he said he has a friend who is looking to make an adoption plan! My husband talked with the expectant father and he sounded interested in meeting us. He was going to talk with the expectant mother and we are supposed to hear from them this weekend. They said they wanted to make plans to meet.

I am in between nervous and excited. Its so hard to get excited, because I know they have a difficult decision to make  and also because its such an uncertain time. We've been there before and we know it can work out, but the butterfies you end up feeling are unreal!

I just say my prayers every night for the baby that is meant for us and the expectant mom who is carrying the baby and of course the expectant dad as well.

If we meet, I hope they like us. And if they chose not to parent, I pray they would want us to be the parents, because we would love nothing more.
