Welcome to The Year of Science 2009!!!  Read more about it here, at their homepage. The best thing about it... IT'S ALL FREE!!!

Every month in the year 2009 has a science theme associated with it.  I hope you all join in, get excited about the Year of Science, learn something new, and promote the idea to others!!

March activites for The Year of Science 2009

*Meet five physicists and learn about their work

*Explore the Powers of Ten - a quick tutorial about relative sizes of different items

*Visit the FUN ZONE for great physics activities, including Flat Stanley's adventures, the science of whipped cream, and more!

*Do this physics experiment and send in your data!

*Learn about physics in society.

If you do anything cool from this site, I would LOVE to see it (or read about it)!  AND, you can still check out the posts from February and January.  It's never too late!
