2,398 cities, towns and municipalities in 83 countries have already committed to VOTE EARTH for Earth Hour 2009, as part of the worlds first global election between Earth and global warming.

This is a BIG step in a small way (turn off the lights for 1 hour~ that's all) to make your voice heard! Every participant is actually making a vote. A vote for Earth, against global warming.

The outcome of this years Earth Hour will determine official government policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol.

It has already surpassed the goal of 1 billion people!
