ok i am putting in all my effort to lose weight. i want to take off 36 lbs all together.. i have been using the walmart brand of slimfast optima and it doesnt taste all that bad but still its two meals aday.. which means i am left to my own for snacks and dinner (or lunch) and well i have been really high calorie food for almost 3 years now becasue of toryn's caloric needs and i would just make high cal foods for everyone not wanting to have to make different things for everyone.. well i have gained 20lbs after having him.. and that isnt the 15lbs i gained before i got pregnant with him. i am at 159lbs... my bmi is overweight almost to obese.. that is super scary to me since most of my family is morbidly obese and i have always been the small one... and now i am not.. i am also very uncomfortable in my own body. i want to look great this summer in tank tops and maybe even shorts ( gotta lose the thunder thighs) and i want to get rid of the muffin tops.. i cant stand to look at myself in a mirror anymore and i get disgusted when i do. which made me eat more... and now i am trying to learn how to control those cravings to eat and instead drink a glass of water... which is hard for me becasue well i dont like water.. and i cant drink crystal light because it has artifical sweetners in it and i am allergic to artificial sweeteners. once i accidently eat some it sets off my IBS, causes me to throw up and i have instant hives. so i am cutting calories.. the good thing is that i am down from 6-8 cans of pepsi to 1 or 2 a day. i crave the sugar and the caffine and i am having horrible headaches from lack of caffine but i think the major thing that will kill me is that when school starts back up monday i will have my cup of coffee and then WATER.. not pepsi and instead of eating chips or other garbage i will by a cup of yogurt or a small salad with light dressing on it.  my calorie count for the day is 1484 tomorrow my goal is to cut out 200 more calories.. so once i get down to 1200 calories i hopefully should start losing weight... since i already cut out 700 in the last 3 days...

I lost around seventy pounds in 2003. How I did do that was I cut out butter and all snacks of every kind except for fresh fruit until I lost the seventy pounds. I ate fresh fruit every day. I ate fresh fruit and I ate dill pickles to diminish my appetite. What I did do is stock up on canned fruit too and I know it is expensive but if you can afford it do so because it is so much better for you to eat as a treat than chocolate cake or cookies or pie etc. 

 I ate a lot of salad and I put everything in it pickles cucumber red onion I threw in a few kidney beans, lettuce, and green sweet bell red and yellow peppers when they were affordable. In addition, to I like tomatoes when affordable I included them in my salad. I put a little corn relish on top and few croutons. Very little salad dressing on the side so you can gage the amount you want to eat and because the calories are so high that you need to measure the amount. Use as little as is possible of that stuff salad dressing because that stuff is fattening

I ate pop corn using an air popper. I ate that many nights if I had a big appetite I would eat a big bowl of plain air popped pop corn. 
 

I ate Peanut butter sandwich AND FRUIT for dinner many nights so often I would not cook for myself for dinner because when I cook and eat my own cooking I always eat too much then. When I did cook, and if I ate I served myself huge amounts of vegetables. I like vegetables of every kind with nothing on them and potatoes with nothing on them. To fill up so I did not overindulge on other stuff I ate those foods with the lowest calories. I would then eat small amounts of meat rice or whatever else I did cook because I filled the plate with vegetables so there was no room on the plate for the other stuff. Since I filled up on vegetables, I was able to refrain from eating too much of the other things I did cook for the family. 


I did use milk and half-and-half and sugar in my coffee but lately I am trying to quit using sugar and milk in my coffee and tea I drink them black if I can stomach it LOL but it cuts out a lot of calories doing that and helps to keep weight off . Occasionally I did and do have orange juice or apple juice but one cup here or there in a month but not every day no. Mainly I drank diet root beer. 

I stayed away from take-outs and I tried not to eat rich fattening oil laden food period.
 I very rarely allow myself to eat ice cream even now because it is the one food if I eat it that will put three pounds on me in a week. As much as I love ice cream, I do not buy it. I tell myself do not even think about buying it. I feel it is not in my best interest to buy it ice cream and have it in the home.
