Wrong Turn

I ended up turning right instead of left. Left  was the plan. It would have taken me to a beautiful water fall.  I missed missed the exit to go to the Falls, so I ended up turning right. RIGHT took me to the beach. with sand. And wind. It was WINDY!! I got hit in the back of the  neck with a flying hunk of shale rock, that the wind broke free from the cliff and send sailing through the air. I have been to the beach a lot latly and wanted a quiet hike with a waterfall. But that's not where I ended up. But it's OK. Normally I freak and panic with a missed turn or not  being a intended road. Literally. Driving gives me panic attacks. I often have an overwhelming sense of being lost ot cut-ff from where i want to be.

But the beach was nice, there were caves all down the shore. it was NEAT! and lots of little tide pools.

COOL!  I love the beach. 

Used to live on the East Coast in FLA for 3 years and GA for 10 years about 30 min drive from the ocean- now I live in Michigan blah....

Your pictures help me enjoy my ocean again even though they are not "my ocean" hehe

Good for you!  You made great strides today!  I know how scary that panic attack feeling can be and for what it is worth... I am PROUD of you for rolling with the punches and enjoying a day at the beach with your boys!!!!

You are great with that camera!  I really enjoy looking at the snaps you take.

You'll make it to the waterfall next time... or on another just as worthy adventure!
