The first book I remember reading because I chose to was The Giver. I dont remember who it was written by but we had to read it in class and I missed a couple days so I fell behind. I asked to borrow the book over the weekend to catch up and I read the entire book by Monday morning. I had finished the book before the rest of the class. I also remember the teacher telling me I couldnt say anything about it to anyone and got stuck with a bok report on symbolism and such. So far its one of my all time favorites.

The first book I read because I wanted to was Helter Shelter by Vincent Bugliosi (hope I spelled that correctly). I was in high school and the murders had happened just a few years before. It was really good too.

The first book I remember reading because I wanted to was Deep-Dive.  I remember I was in the 4th grade and I loved the colors and design on the cover. I only remember it was a good book. The second was Fire by the same author who I don't remember, but the covers were so enticing I had to read them. I didn't do much reading after that unless I had to. However, I have read more books in the last two years than most people read in two lifetimes. I find myself reading everything I can get my hands on.

I think the first book I read  cover to cover, on my very own, was The Amityville Horror.  I was in 6th grade and all my friends read it at the same time.  I started other books, like A Wrinkle in Time, and Jonathan Livingston Seagul,  in the past, but never finished them.I loved The Amityville Horror...scared the pants off of me!

The first book I remember reading was when I was a child. It was GRIMMS FAIRY TALES. It was a thick book and I read it from cover to cover. Loved IT
