I love contemporary, modern things, however I am not ready to go decorating and buying furniture to watch it be destroyed by my kids. So for now, with the help of Toys R Us and Target I have plenty of color in just about every room in my house. Looking forward to the day I no longer need a highchair, playpen, walker, jumper etc. They take up sooooooo much room :>).

LOL, I would have to say my decorating style is Country Toddler. We even have a playroom downstairs and still my daughter likes to bring all of her toys in to the living room. There are some days when I think I may lose my mind with the amount of clutter, but then I remind myself she is only little for a short time and some day I'm going to wish I was tripping over toys. I try to have bins that go with my living room decor where I can stash her toys and stuffed animals as well as book shelves for her books, and then each night before bedtime we do a clean sweep of the living room so at least when we wake up its not to a disaster first thing. I used to be a complete neat freak, but having a child has taught me to let loose of that and just go with the flow. Some days are easier than others with that.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA... Contemporary toddler is hilarious. Sounds like your kids need some boundaries. Make a space of your own and keep thiers in the same place so u dont feel so crowded. Yes, kid stuff does take up lots of room.Hope ur kids have a nursery or room of their own. take time to creat a space for u so when ur kids r sleep u can enjoy a nice magazine from front to back. lol...decorate ur space and teach ur kids what not to tuch. dont feel guilty for settinglimits,it will teach them not to wear u out. they will have limits and understand mommy needs play time too.
