So Rebecca needs to see a pediatric allergist. I call, they say they need a referral, I say I don't need a referral because I pay for the best insurance so that I don't need to ask the doctor to care for my kids. They tell me that it is their policy to have a referral. I say OK. I call doctor. Finally get through after 20th call (seriously the line was that busy). I speak to answering machine and give information about how I need a referral. Now I am waiting for someone to call and give us an appointment. I can't believe this is the medical care system in the United States of America. Unbelievable.

Medical stuff is so annoying. Once I got a bill from the doctors saying that the insurance wouldn't pay it cos we had other insurance. UMMM well maybe they should tell me what "other" insurance we have, cos i'm just paying for ONE. How dumb are these people. good grief, good luck with everything.

I guess everyone ( Dr) wants a referral from everyone else(Dr) to make sure they are all getting their share of the gravy boat.
