Why you shouldn't string beads with a 3 year old...

 Yesterday Jordan got herself a bead kit (to make necklaces and bracelets). So Jordan is on the floor stringing her beads and Savannah and I are on the cough. All Savannah was doing was handing me the beads as I asked for them. All of the sudden Savannah started to cry and she was digging in her nose. I thought she had a dried up booger in there and was having a hard time getting it out. I asked if she's needed some help and she still crying. My husband jokely said " She might have put a bead in her nose!" Sure enough a bead the size of a dime was pushed in her nose. Clint got the tweezers out and tried pretty hard to get it out (not knowing he was making things worse.) All Savannah is doing is screaming and crying and blood is getting everywhere.
Finally, after 5 minutes of trying I called her predication. They told us to come in right away. We got there and the doctor asked if she could blow the bead out ( I was thinking if she could've done that we wouldn't be here.) So the doctor looks up in her right nostril and sees the bead and says " This should be easy. She gets out a blue plastic tool (normally used to clean out the ears) and tries pushing out the bead while Savannah is seating up. The plastic tool breaks and Savannah is screaming and crying. So the doctor called a nurse in the room and we ended up laying her down. I held her arms, the nurse held her head, and the doctor got a metal tool. The doctor gave two big trys and finally on the third time the bead popped out. The nurse cleaned up the bead and put it in a zip lock bag. (keepsake)
Today Savannah is doing fine and she keeps telling me "Mommy I don't got a bead in my nose." So happy we didn't have to pay a co-pay for that because if we did that bead would've been framed.

OMG I don't know what I would have done other than freak out. I am glad they got it out though.

Oh, wow! Kids are so crazy! I bet you never thought you could laugh and be totaly freaked out at the same time! lol So far Raven hasn't stuck any objects in any body parts, but when she was little she liked to stick her finger in just about everything! She was always getting it stuck in something!
