Why is it so hard to meet people that you can trust these days?

You think you have good friends and then for some reason just because your life changes because you have a child they turn their backs. Just because you cannot go out as often and such.

Sometimes being a young mother is harder because a lot of your friends do not have children and will never understand why you cannot go out as much. Because they think it is just that simple to just leave your child while you have a night of fun.

Sure there are times when I take a break and actually go out once and a while. But what mom doesnt?

I just wish that finally in my life I could find some real girlfriends that could be there for me through thick and thin. Plus be honest about what they are thinking and not just leaving you hanging in the dust to figure out why you dont even contact each other anymore.

I totally know what you mean! It's a shame that our friends don't understand. I lost a lot of "good" friends because of having a baby. I feel for you! You'll meet people, new people worth your time.
