I keep looking out the front window, but she has not yet arrived.
Each time I hear a car roll down our street, I think it's got to be her, but still no. We must have one. I mean, we have to have one, right?
The kids clothes are thrown all over the bathroom floor overflowing into the hallway, just waiting to be picked up. The kitchen sink (only inches away from the dishwasher) grows with more dishes each time I pass.
Who's suppose to take care of them??
Hubbies whiskers cover my bathroom counter & sink. His coke can, and midnight snack sandwich plate still sit on the living room end table. . . . . Where is the maid dam-nit!
The floors need to be vacuumed, the kitchen floor mopped, the laundry pile is consuming my closet, and dust bunnies are reoproducing like, well bunnies. (How does dust happen so fast anyway?)
I have things to do ya know, I can't wait around all day for her to show up.
What? Wait a minute, you mean we don't have a maid?
Well then, who is suppose to clean all this up??
Oh that's right~ just me.
