why is it seem that everytime we get unpacked and comfy in a house we have to move..

i really hate renting and wish we could just buy because i am tired of moving every year. my landlord was all for signing a new lease till the first time (just last month) that she called and said she wanted to move back to get the stimulas for homeowners.. well that was shot down because its a duplex and that is considered a business so she said forget about it and she will get the new lease written up dont worry..

well today she calles me and i am having a really bad day. i had to go redo all my class schedual for school that starts monday because financial aid didnt pass me in my algebra 1 class that i just passed but not with a high enough grade and went to regester for the algebra 1 class and drop my algebra 2 class and the algebra 1 class is full and the admissions lady was like you should have regestered on your regisration date... im like i DID i just had you drop the other class to put me in this one.. then basically told me to beg the teacher on monday to let me in his class... UGH!!  i will do it, its going to suck and i dont think he will let me back in because i passed... anyways while i am waiting for the head lady of the financial aid office to talk to me my phone rings.. and since i had been waiting for 10 mins i answered it.. well it was my landlord calling to tell me that she has to have surgery and that her mom is moving in with her and she needs our side of the duplex for her and her mom... our lease is up in 2 weeks she wants us out next weekend.. we dont have any money to move and we wont by then because we will have to pay the bills and since march is techniquly our last month we have paid for it all ready but we also payed for it earlier this month.. so hopefully she will pay us back our 700 bucks back.. but still 2 bedrooms go for 675-975 a month and we cant afford anymore than 700 and since we were lucky to find this place to have at least water paid we could afford it.. but we will probally have to rent a house where we will have to pay electricity, water/sewer, garbage, and possibly gas that will run our bills to almost 2000  a month we only make 2300 in a good month.. and since nothing here is based on what you pay out already just your gross monthly income we dont qualify for any help what so ever.. and when i try to get help they tell me to quit my job... yeah big help there..  ugh i hate my life sometimes.. it seems we are always stuck between a rock and a hard place...

That is really shitty of her, I understand she needs the place but she should be giving you more time and yea I thought they had to give more notice than that.  I hope you find something cheap and quickly!  *HUGS*

erin, i soo hear ya, I've been in the same place 2 years and couldn't imagine even thinking about moving. good luck girl I hope you find something and soon
