The Paci Fairy Came! Finally!

For the past few days, we've been talking more and more about the Paci Fairy and how she is real good friends with Tinkerbell.

Ever since Keira was sick she actually lost some of her attachment to her pacis and was holding them more than actually using them. The other morning after waking up, she even put them on the windowsill for the Paci Fairy to pick up.

So, on Tuesday night she went to bed without her pacis. I knew if I left them on the windowsill she would just get up and get them, so I just tucked them away. She talked to herself and whined just a bit but was asleep within an hour! She did wake up twice during the night, but was quickly consoled with a retuck and quick backrub.

The Paci Fairy and Tinkerbell came and left fairy dust all over the room. They also left a few small gifts for the new big girl - the Paci Fairy doll I made for her, new fairy wings and a small Tinkerbell playset (I had picked this up on Christmas clearance and was waiting for the right moment to use it).

Naptime and bedtime have continued to go well.  She is still learning that the pacis aren't here any more and whines a bit, but overall she's doing so well.  I'm so proud of my big girl!
