Where does a Mom go to resign?

My kid vandalizes MY car, so I get frustrated and press charges with the police, 35 community service hours!  No biggie, he will do them with my friend the Detective... Tonight as I was taking pizza out of the oven, I get a call from the police station, can you come down?  Sure. it's my second home!!  Well my kids yes both of my kids were with another 2 friends and they were smoking, ok, no major thing, but one of the kids gets STUPID and tried to light something on fire at the local gym.  They got picked up and will be cited, more community service hours for Michael and the kid who did the (attempted)  arson, well he is off to Juvinile hall, his dad burst into the station, blaming me immediately, it's your kid's fault, blah blah blah,,,  he sent his son to juvi, but it is a good thing since his father is a very abusive drunk, and if Corey had gone home with him, he would be black and blue head to toe by morning. 

So someone tell me please, where does this mom go to resign??  I love my kids but I am exhausted!!!

you're doingthe right thing.

you're son will figure out that what he is doing is hurting himself and no one else.

as for where a mother would go to resign... i'm not sure but i go to my husbad and tell him i'm on strike until i get something i want/want done around the house (like fixing the stove. and the last time i did it  which was recently was over the pregnant cat that the neighbors abandoned. i want to keep the cat. within a day he told me i can keep her. lol he has a dog so why can't i have a cat?).

We were told it wouldn't be easy...but it would be worth it...

So...hang in there...and let Christ hold some of the baggage... He said he would lighten our burdens...

I can't tell you how many times I've ask that question of myself.  I tell my sons that it's like they took a knife and stabbed me in the back and then just twist it.  Sorry for the graphic description, but that is how my sons have made me feel when they have gotten themselves in trouble.  Are there any boys that don't get in trouble with the police anymore?  My 15 year old is yet to get into any trouble and I pray that he will not. 

Hang in there.  This too will pass.  Trust God.  He'll bring you through.
