The Nerve of some people...

 I just don't understand. Is it that some people are raised to be complete idiots or do they just not care about peoples feelings..  Let me tell you what just happened. ....  My sons god mother, shes his god mother but ever since she has a niece of her own he has been forgotten.  They didn't even send him a birthday card.  Now that the new baby is here they don't seem to have time for my son.. Which is fine. I don't care. Really I don't.  But, I parent my kids a little different than they do. I co sleep, I extended breastfeed, I don't spank, and I also chose to delay vaccines for my daughter. I wasn't very educated when I had my son so he is fully vaccinated, but my daughter isn't. Shes 18 months and has only had 5 shots.  Anyhow, her and I where discussing my daughter and her cold tonite. She said that I should give her a teaspoon of honey to calm her cough.. I thought honey was bad for babies.. SO, I just said yea I will try it, just to make her stop talking about it.. Well, later down in the conversation I had told her that the kids doctor was out of town for spring break and that they wouldn't be back until the 6th of April. She then precedes to tell me that her doc is in the office 365 days a year even late night...  That I didn't give them a chance when I took my son there..  Um, the damn doctor flat out told me when he was stinking a huge q tip in my sons belly button that i was going to make my son be a wussy when he grows up. That I should stop babying him so much. I was like WTF??  My son isn't a wussy...  He was crying because the freak doctor was stinking a huge stick was down in his belly button and to top it off I was 5 months pregnant... and very emotional!!  So, needless to say I never went back to that SOB doctor!!  So, anyway, she has the nerve to say to me that maybe that is why my kids are always sick, because they arnt up to date on their shots... I was looking at the computer screen like oh hell no... I said, um, no they arnt always sick it has been the past two months and i believe its because I have been taking them out more... around more kids and stuff.. and my son is UP TO DATE on all his shots.. So, no i don't think that is why they are sick all the time........ 

Like, where does she get off??  She has a 15 year old daughter that wears more make up that I do. Speaks the worst English I have ever heard, like, its horrible.. Like pig Latin or something...  And she hangs out with nothing but trouble making kids.. She lets this 15 year old go to a teen night club every weekend... I mean who is she to tell me that about my kids vaccines..  Maybe she should worry about her daughter running the streets half naked...  I am so pissed... 

But, you know, it just shows me how petty some people are.. How small minded... How so quick to jump to conclusions.. I should have told her to bite me... but I didn't.. I just was like, no i never thought of that.. I dont believe all the propaganda that goes along with the vaccines.. That this is going to totally protect them.. bullshit..  I do know that my daughter had never had an ear infection until 3 weeks after her first shot... So, yea, I believe that the vaccines will make my kids sick... And thats why i chose to either not give them or give the most after shes 2.. Shes my daughter damn it@!@

 

Anyway thanks for letting me vent..  Im sure it will be a few weeks before I speak to her.. Oh wait on more thing.... She is always telling me that I am the reason my daughter wont stay with her.. That I am making my daughter insecure.. Like my daughter refuses to be left with anyone.. I left her one time.. and she cried the whole 5 hours... All this girl does it talk smack to me.. And you know what.. Today is the day that im not taking it.. Im not talking to her anymore.. she needs to apoloigize.. or she can go    "F"  herself!!

Oh my.... sometimes the best thing to do is not say anything at all, leave the people who make you feel this way behind, and move on. This rant seems a little petty. People are entitled to their own opinions and we can chose to either let it affect us negatively, or just shrug it off. If you know she is wrong why are you so upset?

Your asking me why im upset? Seriously?  She is supposed to be my sons godmother.. She isnt supposed to treat me that way. I know shes wrong.. But she is so set in her ways she can break from her way to come to see my way...  Like i said people are soooooo small minded!!!

Sometimes you just have to let people go if they will not open their eyes. I hope it all works out for you positively. Being mad and upset is a waste of time that you could have spent being happy and just letting it go.

Last I heard there wasn't a vaccine for the common cold!

If  you dislike her so much and the way she is raising her daughter then why did you choose her to be your sons godmother? Not trying to bash or anything just trying to understand the reason behind it!

Her daughter wasnt a street running hood rat when my son was born. She was only 11.  So, back then she was doing right by her kids..  All she ever does is tell me what im doing wrong with my kids and is to stupid to see waht she is doing wrong with hers..
