My daughter is 6 and has mild autism. She had only been to get her hair cut twice before this weekend. The first time she was only 2 and did just fine. I cut it myself most of the time but took her to another place when she was about 4 and it was BAD. She wouldn't stay still and cried and fought it until we ended up just getting her bangs trimmed. This weekend I took an electronic game for her to play while she was in the chair and it was perfct. She got a REAL haircut and styled and everything with out crying or fighting. I am so proud of her.

That's awesome! I can really relate to bad haircut experiences, but my autistic son is only 2. This gives me hope that it might get better someday!
