For the first time ever, Oprah Winfrey is sharing the cover of her O magazine. The talk show host poses on the April 2009 issue cover with First Lady Michelle Obama.

Inside, Winfrey interviews Obama about how her life has changed since her husband Barack Obama became president, her work out routine and more.

When asked about how she has changed since Obama ran for president, the new First Lady says she has become "more hopeful."

"I'm more optimistic. More hopeful. It comes from traveling all over America and connecting with so many different people. And this was long before anyone thought Barack had a chance. This was the kindness of strangers. I think we should all have to get to know one another around kitchen tables. It changed me. It's helped me to give other people the benefit of the doubt," she said.

As for how she gets her famously toned arms, Michelle revealed that she works out at least 4 days a week. "There's a small gym here that has everything we need. I work out about four to five days a week - and Barack does six. He's a workout zealot," she explains.

"I do treadmill, I do weights," she adds. "I also do some jump rope, some kickboxing - and I'd like to take up Pilates, if I could figure out whether there's time."
