Daily Theme!

This is the first time I believe I have journaled about the daily theme.
Today though, it is about one of my biggest loves in life...Music!
No I can't play any instruments. Never have been too musically inclined, but I sure do know how to dance my ass off and enjoy the hell out of it!!
If I were in a band I would play the Banjo. I hear it is one of the hardest instruments to learn to play. It is also my favorite to listen to. Gets me going every time! It's also my pups name! :)
I went and saw one of my favorite bands the other night, Railroad Earth. If you haven't heard them I suggest you check them out. They really RAGE!! The opening band was Split Lip Rayfield. I had never heard any of their music before, but the second I walked in and heard it I was immediately in love!! One of the member plays a home-made instrument made out of an old gasoline tank, I believe. It was the shit, and their banjo player was fuckin' awesome!!! I love it when I stumble upon good music like that! I believe they are from Kansas, so Kansas mamas be sure to check um out! I have a few of their songs on my cafemom playlist.
Anyhow, I LOVE the banjo and wish I could play it....
