What ever happened to Kara?

So, for spring break I decided to take the kids down to my grandmother's house for the week. I haven't seen her in such a long time.  Being in my home town brought back so many memories.  Like, walking to school with the girls and hanging out everyday after school.  we made all these plans about how we were going to get married on the same day and live on the same street. Our kids were going to play together and when they grew up they were to get married.  Funny to date i am the only one out of the 7 of us to be married.  the only one that tries to get the rest of us together at least one day out of the year and we never seem to be able to. Every body else just went out into the world and got a life me i got married. Don't get me wrong married life is great its just i really miss my friends.  we used to go out and do anything i mean catch  a movie in the afternoon or go out for lunch and stay for happy hour. even when we started having kids this was something that we did. now the only people that i really get to talk to is my in-laws. how in the world can i vent about my hubby and my in-laws if the only people that i can ever talk to ARE my in-laws.  i think that i try to hard that must be it.  or could it be that i think to little of myself.  sometimes i see places that i want to go or things that i want to do but don;t because we don't have a car or the fact that money is tight. that was never something that stopped me before. just now things seem to be different and it seems the older i get (30) the more boring that i become. you know i want to be like the girls on sex and the city. i would just settle for someone that i can call my best friend. its just so i don;t know hard i guess. things are always changing yet i still stay the same.

girlfriend...u need a new set of friends. friends that will encourage u everyday. Im married and 4 kids and have a good group of friends that i hang out with. i hope you find that set of friends. if u need one, im here for you. Keep your head up. Be 30 flirty and thriving. =)
