Hmm, this is a toughy. Patrick Swayze as Johnny kicked the crap out of that sleazy waiter guy (what was his name?) and as a dancer, he had the moves needed to defeat someone like Maverick in Top Gun. But Maverick took crazy chances. He might lose the fight, but he'd go in swinging.

I'd have to say Patrick Swayze. As Johnny, he seems more in control than Tom Cruise as Pete. Usually it's the guy with more self control that wins a fight.
