Swimsuit Shopping, Face-book and Obama's Gifts

I just broke down and ordered a swimsuit and cover up. Unfortunately they didn't have anything that would cover me from neck to ankles. I find myself longing for the swimsuits from the old days. You know, the 1800's. I think they even wore underwear and tights under those things. Plus they wore gigantic floppy hats with bows. That would probably be a good way to take the emphasis off my thighs. I'm completely cracking up right now picturing myself showing up at the beach in an 1800's swimsuit. Maybe I should start a club? LOL

I've just started to figure out Face-book this week and it's a lot of fun. Though I still feel pretty clueless and don't know what the heck "poking" someone is supposed to mean.

I'm considering applying for a job with the Obama administration. He seriously needs someone to work for him who knows how to choose gifts. He gave the Queen of England an ipod (a few months ago there were pictures of her learning how to use her ipod from her grandsons). Let's not forget the lovely DVD set he gave the Prime Minister. Note to Barack: fire whoever is in charge of gifts. Immediately. Also, expand your shopping options away from just Wal-Mart and Radio Shack.

I agree with the bathing suit thing, I hate em and we have our own pool which I was in maybe 4 times all of last year lol.. See I was wondering about those gifts as well. Who buys those? I mean really you wuold think they would have umm some better ideas. But hey Obama got an autographed picture of teh Queen in return. I don't know I think if I was these countries leaders I would be feeling a mojor snub ya know

What happened to giving dignified gifts to dignitaries?  Is that now a thing of the past?

Hey, you might have a million dollar idea, girl!!  I'd dig a bathing suit that didn't show all of my yucky cellulite!!

I would so wear a swimsuit like that. It's probably the only swim suit I would ever wear again. I am slowly getting to figure FaceBook out also. You'll have to add me!
