Well there is a few actually, first is anything to do with being an army wife, yes i watch army wives, it's is close to the truth, yes it is hard being away all the time, and of course i am worried, but i know he will always be home. just because we are military wives does not mean our job is any harder then any other wives job, we are people too. we are not stronger we just hide it well, we are not special we are just married to our heroes. my hubby works just as much as your hubby does. its just that sometimes he is gone for weeks or months or even a year.
then there is how do you do it? well come on i just do, someone has to take care of the kids when he is gone, someone has to make sure the phone is answered, someone has to make sure the bills are paid, so you just do it, just like every other wife out there. you have to stay strong for your kids, if your not everything falls apart. if everything falls apart at home imagon what he is thinking on mission, yes its hard but come on not any hard then if your hubby loses his job or gets in a car accident or a plane went down and he is on a business trip. less people die in war then drunk drivers a year. we have a house, we have a steady pay(not much dont get me wrong but its there) we all get through it in our own ways we dont even have special powers, we are people, mommies and wives just like you.
the others are about being wiccan/pagan...i can list many here too, do you go to church, no my house and outside is my church, are you a witch, yes that is the term used for a person that is wiccan, what is it, an earth based religion, stop killing my mother, do you cast spells...i can and have but is that any of your business, no and just so you know you liked me before you knew that i was a witch so why does it matter now? i know that jesus died for me, i probably know more about the christian religion then you think i do. my main belief is to harm none, let ye will be done...why would i be evil?

Do you feel like you're always saying "No" to your kids? Maybe it's time to have a "Yes" day instead.

i think one of the things you left out of the military part is the kids. You have to make the kids understand that daddy is doing what he is doing because that is how much he loves us. daddy is not gone away for fun. he is gone to protect us. when we move again you will be the new kids again. yes it is hard moving all the time but, how many states can you remember living in? right now mine with answer 4 and another country. It is just another adventure. it is like a treasure hunt to find all the fun things to do. the only differences are that as military family we have to be creative thinkers!! we don't like it sometimes but it is what gets us through. we tend to value the word family in a different way. you have your family and your military family. i feel they are all the same, but some still keep differences.
