Wow, I have not been on here in forever! I have a whole new appreciation for you veteran moms who still make time to be on here. I am going to spend about five minutes writing a little update...
Lucas is 13 months old now. Unfortunately, adding a new picture does not it into my five minute limitation. He is amazing. I know I am biased, but you'll have to take my word. He has beautiful blond hair and the biggest, bluest eyes I have ever seen. It amazes me how much more I love him every day.
RCIA is coming to a close. Lucas and I will both be baptized (yes, in the font together) this coming Saturday at the Easter Vigil. I will also be confirmed and receive my first communion. This journey as been so amazing! I am so grateful to my Catholic sisters on here who encouraged me and drew me closer and closer to the Lord through my pregnancy. You ladies played such a monumental role in my life.
Ryan and I are still back together (have been since Lucas was 4 months old). We are actually discussing marriage. Of course, he will have to have an enullment first, but the priest at our parish is optimistic since he was not married in any church. He says that the paperwork should only take a few months. It is amazing how far we have come together.
In not as exciting news, I was diagnosed with lupus in January. The prognosis is good for now. Of course, sudden changes are always possible, but I am optimistic. The great part is that I finally have an answer for all of the bizarre and debilitaing symptoms I have suffered for a while now. The treatment is ongoing, but there has been some relief from the meds already.
OK, five minutes are up. I am going to try to get back on here soon! I promise! I miss all of you wonderful ladies!
