Mothers sacrifices

Sierra has been sick all weekend. I had hoped her cold would pass by today. But no such luck. She has a low grade fever and coughing a lot. I could send her to the sitters. But that would be irresponsible of me. She's likely still contagious. And there are other children there. So, I have to keep her at home and by extension, I have to miss work. I have the vacation time to use. But I hate using it for sick days. My boss is good about understanding (Shes a mother too) but it seems like I miss a lot of work just because Sierra gets sick.
