I am gonna stop feeling sorry for myself.

So, I read my last journal post and it sounds pretty pathetic! I am going to think positively and know it will happen when its meant to happen.

I know this to be true because we just spent the day yesterday with our son's birthmom and her family, and it was just meant to be, us meeting  each other and that we are his parents! We all feel it was something that was destined for us and I have to believe that our next baby it will be the same way. I can't try to rush god's plan, I just wish sometimes I could peek and see what he has in store for us! hahaha!

When I think of our son and how he was sent to us and what a miracle it is I get a calm feeling and I know it will happen when its supposed to this time.

I can do it, I know I can, I know I can! Aren't you supposed to keep telling yourself that when your thoughts turn negative? hahha

I feel better just writing it down, but I still can't wait to snuggle our new baby, I can dream while I wait, PATIENTLY!!!! :)

  We waited and prayed for years to adopt.  As the years passed we figured our chances were becoming less and less.  I never gave up faith, hope or prayers.  Then one day through friends we had met our son's birth mom.  She will forever hold such a special place in our hearts.  Our prayers were finally answered we were chosen as adoptive parents!!  Even 3 and a half years later the shock is  still with me.  Our hearts are no longer empty.  Our son is the center of our world!! Seeing his smiling face every morning assures me this is so real.  I cherish everyday with him and thank God for allowing us all to come together for the love of a child.  We would love the chance to adopt child/children but are just thankful to be blessed with our little angel.  Thankful to have his birth mom be a part of our lives and thankful that through God all things are possible...
