We are buying a house!

So we started the whole home buying process in March! It has been a very odd experience.  We started out trying to get pre-approved through Wells Fargo since all of our other loans are through them. We thought we had a great person helping us and boy were we wrong! She didn't know what she was doing and because of this we have now had 2 credit checks on us! So when she told us last week that she thought she could get us more money we were excited but then the next day she came back and said that we didn't even qualify for a loan we were angry! So I was ready to give up and just stay in our nice rental house! Ryan on the other had was not going to take no for an answer! So he's now taken over the whole process and I just have to sign and ask a couple questions along the way! Thankfully we found a great lady at Westcorp Mortgage named Cherie! She is getting us a great Rural Development Loan!  We also have an amazing Real Estate agent! If you live in the Pendleton Area I would recommend Jessie Minkler at Coldwell Banker! She listens to all of our questions and answers them so that we understand!

Now that we know we have a loan, we've finally found the house! It's a cute little bungalow in Riverside!  It's 3 bedrooms 1 bath (new) It also has a room that has an outside entrance that will be for my daycare! It has pretty much everything that I prayed for! Right now we are just waiting for the inspection and the appraisal to be done! We set the closing date at May 21st! Ryan is planning to take May 22-June 1st off! We will paint and hopefully pull up the old carpet before we move in! We are praying that the Hardwoods under the carpet are in good shape since we won't really have time to refinish them before we move in!

So that is our update! I'll post again after the house is inspected and appraised since that could make or break the deal!

Oh I wish I had known you were going to use wells fargo , they are the whole reason we had to wait two extra years to buy a house they screwed everything up i would never send anyone to them. We used coldwell I have heard great things about jessie (we used marcia morgan she rocked)

I am so sad that you are moving to the other side of town :(

Then again I am so happy for you, it has only been a year and half since we bought our house and it still feels so good to have my own house! Good luck with everything i hope it goes smoothly from here on out :)
