It's that time of year again... The Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival

Ok so this year is a really decent line up of some "worth it" shows. I'm definitely going to catch the Steve Miller Band, Ben Harper and the Relentless 7, Jack's Mannequin, Katy Perry, Bonnie Rait, and 311. I have to go all three nights... so I may as well just get the three day pass. Hopefully it doesn't rain it's ass off like it does every year. I'm gonna hope for some nice weather... If not hey i'll be able to wear those tacky rain boots everyone and their mom is wearing... yay for memphis in may. 

hmm the next weekend after the music fest is BBQ fest... I may just have to camp out on Mud Island for the whole month and commute on the tram...

ahhh there are so many things I love about memphis... but so many things I hate...

We went once, I love Beale, but prefer it when the festival is NOT going on.
