Hello: My name is Angela. I have ms. I was diagnosed with ms about 6 years ago. I also have fibromyalsia, intersystical cystitis, ibs, and early menopause because i had a partial hysterectomy done 7 years ago. I had a neurostim implant put in me to help with my irratible bladder problems and that helps alot. I was told i had ms and my doctor told me i had to stop working immediately. I worked in a factory then. I have not worked anywhere else since that. It took me years to find out what was wrong with me. The doctors told me that it was all in my head and i was making things up. Then they sent me to a therapist to discuss my problems with. Then one morning i got up to go to work and i went to get out of bed and i feel instantly to the floor. I felt like i had no legs. So i went to my family doctor and he referred me to a neuologist. So my neuologist did the run of tests and put me on steroids that made me gain 30 pounds instantly. After all testing he said that all the tests came back positive for ms. My husband refuses to believe that i have ms. Anyway i am allergic to copaxone. I had a affalectic sezure and ended up in the hospital. So i am not on any medicine now for my ms. I eat low salt food and low fat food. If i keep my swelling down it makes me feel better. I take some vitamins. I try to get some form of exercise everyday. Some days are very painful. I try to keep a positive attitude. I thank god everyday for allowing me to have use of my arms and legs. I have alot of vision problems too. I have ms but it doesn't have me.
