I have to; I miss it. I realize so many people got tired of reading my blessings, but I miss it so much.I'm not offended if these journals aren't for you; Im just feeling...well...BLESSED, that they ARE for me.
(I count them through out the day anyway...it's just SO peaceful to STOP, for just a moment, each day, and in front of the world SHOW GRATITUDE for all that is around us).
1. Thank you God for the 99 cent store; I always feel like a rich person when I walk out of there with too many bags to carry....(even though, I have to carry them, because the carts cant leave the store. Apparently, people want these carts really, REALLY badly).
But truly, I'm thankful for the 99 cent store.
(And for the free entertainment EVERYTIME I'm in there! I love that! Rock ON!....wait, what?....those are real shoppers?)
Well, I'm thankful for it all none-the-less.
2. For funny Passover Backgrounds. (Yes, I do have too much time on my hands, why????)
If it makes me laugh, then IM THANKFUL FOR IT! (So too, are my abs.)
Passover Penguin!!

ok, then...
Passover Chicken!

ewwww..
HEY!
The 10 Plagues in Finger Puppets!

So cool....I want a set of my own.
OR..
A Modern Moses...
Isnt he cute down there with his staff?

I love this picture. One of my favorites of him, actually. Really shows off how thoughtful of a human being he's be if he were still alive today.
Yep, thank God for laughter...freedom, unity and grace.
And Moses.
3. I'm thankful for the experience of progress, realism, tradition, motivation, and congruency...all in one day.
4. Im thankful for an eclectic viewpoint, and broad sense of appreciation for the gift that comes to pass when the chains of separation are abolished forever.
5. And to sound a bit more like my casual self, thank God for Butterfly bandages. They're working.rather well.

anyhoot! Loved your blessings and gratitudes! Keep up the good work then someone will BELIEVE it will happens to them when they THINK POSITIVE!!!!!!!!
Love to you!
I like your "blessings" posts! :-) And, eggs? Anything that is in the bubble gum machine at the store? Or, small Bday gift packges from the Dollar Store (you could go back)! :-)
Just a quick check in while on break from packing up the kiddos rooms. Missed ya and wanted to see how you're doin....
As for the eggs - whatever you want....
You could put Easter blessings in them with a dime. Or a penny...you know, for your thoughts...
Make them fortune eggs with funny fortunes in them.
I don't know, the possibilities are endless.
As long as the possibility is about 2 inches long! LOL
Love ya!
I like to stuff the plastic eggs with cosmetics & cash. I suck, I know, but, golly*gosh, it sure is fun to see the surprise on my girls' faces...LOL...grown-ups need pastel eggs full of surprising goodness, too, y'know. *wink*
I join your gratitude with my own, sweetie. It's a great way to live!
Mmmm...the "dollar store" is great fun! So many interesting offerings! Exciting! I feel like a modern day explorer in there! LOL.
I'm grateful for you, Elle, & for your continued presence in my life. Your journals, your outlook, your inimitable "voice" all delight me & make me even more happy to be here now.
Hugs...Ceci
My mom used to put coins in them. you can also get a page of stickers and put a few stickers in each egg, you can do an egg scavenger hunt and put clues to the next egg in the first egg and so forth, and have it lead to a big prize at the end.
Itty bitty soaps. silk flowers. erasers. go to that 99 cent store and look around.
I always like to find a plastic egg with money in it! Bouncy balls, Matchbox cars and small yellow fuzz balls that look like baby chicks (so cute and fun for an Easter surprise).
This is the first time I've read your Blessings Journal but I LOVED it!! And...I have to agree with you about the 99 cent store! We are having a family get together on Saturday and I bought a bunch of things for BINGO prizes there!! God Bless ><>

Ok cute pics.I personally love your blessings posts...so plLFFBBTTT
to anyone who doesn't lol...
Inside the eggs we always have a BIG prize egg that contains like 2 bucks or so and a few scattered that contains loose change. Stickers, those micro cars you can buy at like walmart or dollar store in a package of like 5 or 10. marbles and teach the boys how to play . Look in a craft store for different kinds of quartz pieces or small stones and call them worry stones. the kids can carry them in their pocket and when somethign is on their mind they can simply rub the stone, it expends that nervous energy andhelps them focus on the fact that a smooth stone ( what David carried in to face Goliath) has already dealt with the trials of life to make it smooth, each stroke from their worries adds another level of growth to the stone and it in its ability to calm us when we need it becomes a yada praise to God..
