Momtrepreneurial Challenges with Starting a Prenatal Vitamin Company

Creating a start up mom-owned business is a fantastic challenge and there are a tremendous contestants on time.  However, things are really starting to heat up with our our chewable prenatal vitamins at Bloomen Nutrition.  Not only are we starting to get placement in retail stores, this was a huge hurdle by the way, but our online activities and promotions are starting to gain some traction.  In fact, over the next few months, look for Bloom'en in a number of baby-centered events as well as popping up in different contests run by different mommy bloggers. 

Currently we are working with a number of fantastic mom and baby bloggers to help them promote their sites using the Bloom'en Nutrition chewable prenatal vitamins.   In fact, if you are interested in creating a Bloom'en contest or promotion to promote your own blog or mommy site, let me know.   

As an example of one of our most successful events, we partnered to give away a couple of canisters of the chews to the readers of  ProjectNursery in their contest to see who could Twitter or friend the most links back to their site.  Both ProjectNursery and Bloom'en received some great attention and traffic.   If you too are interested in putting something like this together, let me know.  Also, if you would like a sample of the chews so that you can review them in your own blog, let me know as well.   

For other activities, we are also actively tweeting, and making friends with a number of great bloggers.  One example is Due Maternity who have mentioned our chewable prenatal vitamin.  We really appreciate the outpouring of support from everyone.
