Ahhhh... so lots have been asking what happened to my poor, poor foot. There is no big, fancy, heroic or funny story. Its just me. Being a klutz. Anyone can fall down the stairs. It takes special skill to fall up the stairs. My standard response is that I was responding to a flood call and was injured on the call. It is true. But I leave out the part about the flood being caused by my twins and being in the upstairs bathroom. So I run up the stairs, felt a "snap" and it hurt like the devil, but I kept going, got into the bathroom, remedied the situation, turned around and whacked two toes on the hardwood baseboard (sharp corner)... at which point I just lost all composure and cried like a school girl. Like a 3 year old...pre-school girl. I've been whining a lot. It hurts. LOL...I'm really good with dealing with pain, but this has brought me to my knees. I can only take tylenol for pain (I have an ulcer and absolutely everything makes me ill), and tylenol isn't touching the pain, so I'm just not taking anything. I'm praying that I don't fall up (or down) the stairs tomorrow at church when going up the stage steps for choir. I'm a little frightened.

Ah the joys of twins. I've a set that are 11 and still causing mischief. You should go get your foot checked out. It might be seriously injured. Anyway, I hope it is better soon.
Thanks Mamas! I did have it x-rayed. I am in a boot for a couple weeks. I managed to dislocate some of the bones in the foot. Fortunately, its not broken... but it is definitely NOT fun. Thanks Girls!
OH Jen...we really ARE cut off the same cloth...LOL! I have done things just like that before. It always amazes me what actually hurts the most...I can walk away from a c section with just motrin in my pocket, but a little thing like cardboard cut from moving day makes me want to cry...LOL! My future daughter in love is a huge clutz, too so I found her a pin that says, "I'm not clumsy, gravity just hates me" LOL! Sounds like you and I could both use one as well. Hugs for the pian, my dear and I hope you can lift your feet higher in the future...thanks for sharing your story...I was waiting to see if you would!

Ohhh, you poor dear. Sure hope things go better for you. I would tell you to make sure you rest your foot and keep it up, but.... would it do me any good? I didn't think so. Well, take it as easy as you can. Hope you feel better soon.
