I'm hunting for the elusive "Perfect Curriculum"... I keep thinking that I've found one that is really good, but then I run into one reason or another that makes it not worth the money. I don't want to invest in a curriculum and only be able to use parts of it.

For now we seem to be stuck.

I am continually considering writing my own curriculum for the boys, one that is KJV based, teaches character traits through God's word and also will help them learn to love learning and give them some sort of acedemic challenge.  But every time I start, I begin to doubt whether or not I can do it.  I don't really have the time (now if I had a week or so dedicated fully to research...then maybe, but that isn't possible with two little boys terrorizing the house) and I am not sure I have the background knowledge to truly accomplish what I want.

So where is that perfect curriculum? Why can't I find it? I'm beginning to doubt it exists, but it seems that others have found it. Granted, I know that each child is different (you should meet my two boys) and that even if I find one that is perfect for one child, it probably won't work for the other...but I am praying and searching for something...anything that will help me give the boys a good strong biblical foundation, while still allowing me to spend time as Momma and not only teacher.

But, my eternal question still remains...where do I start? Does anyone know? Has anyone run across my elusive curriculum?
