So, if you read "Why i am super stressed" you know the situation.
We were approved for the grant now and now the next step is to get both lead abatement contractors and general contractors to bid out all of the work for our budget of $35,000. Among the work they need to do is replace all 20 some windows in our 2 story house, drywall and fix multiple electrical issues, replace doors to the porches, replace our furnace, and possibly put on a new roof since ours is slate. The lead abatement work will cost the most, so the windows will be the most expensive issue. The person in charge hopes that everything will be withen the budget, but we may not get a new roof. That's fine with me since even though our roof is old we currently have no leaks. They try to do as much as possible with the budget, so they will get a bunch of bids and see who can do the most for the $35,000.
I am so grateful to have found a program to help us because we never could afford all of these improvements on our own and would have to foreclose on our house. The only downside is that they want to start work in May, which means I will have a newborn as well. We will have to be out of the house for several days during the leadwork repairs, and for several weeks during the general stuff. It is overwhelming to think about, but I know it is still better than having to move and foreclose, so I am glad that we are where we are.
So, i am happy, but stressed a bit of course- please send us lots of well wishes so that I don't feel overwhelmed with all the kids and the new baby and all. It will be a lot to handle, but I know I can do it!

I'm glad to hear it worked out for you! It's gonna be a little stressful for while I'm sure, but you can manage it. And it will also mean your house is safer for your family, so that's the important thing! Good luck with all of it!
