At 12:30/1:00 Tuesday we will lose our grandson to his birthfather. We still hold to the hope that we will be able to get grandparents rights but that is it for now. His father wants no contact with us once he has him which is a hugh injustice to our grandson. We're the only stable home he has had for over half of his young life. A complete stranger will come and remove him from our home and take him to another stranger and they think this is ok. I just wish they had allowed a few more visitations so that he could have gotten to know him but they wouldn't allow it. This is just so wrong. Why are they so intent on doing harm to him. Why do they not care about his well being?

At this point please just pray that he can adjust to his new life and is well taken care of. It's not that we deny this man is his father but rather that we want to know that he will be loved and cared for and I have my doubts. I feel that he wants out of child support and it's a "man" thing.

I am so sad every time I catch up on your journals.  I hope that you can find peace with this.  I can only imagine how hard it is.  Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.  Maybe BF will let you have contact after he realizes what a wonderful thing you have been doing for your grandson. If he completely shuts you out he is selfish, but I am sure you already know that.

My prayers for your family will continue on. I am so very sad, but will pray fervently that this other family will comfort him & love him & embrace him during this time. God has a plan, it wasn't the same as ours, we don't understand it, (which is why it is so hard now) but He will do what's best for your grandson. I pray that your sweet boy will melt their hearts, and I believe he will. I pray also for the grandparents' rights, and that things legally will be done to ensure that you don't lose contact forever. Love & Prayers, ...praying
