Latest Ultrasound 4/13/09

Okay so as of 2 fridays ago I was measuring 4 weeks ahead, they gave me a script to get another Ultrasound too see why.........

On Friday morning of this past week I went to put on my bra and thought boy, my chest has shrank, I thought about it a few times during the day and couldn't figure out why.....so Saturday morning my mother came over to help me clean for my daughters birthday party and said "O my god, turn to the side" I was like what the heck is the matter, she said "you severely dropped". So now I look down and realize yes, I have and that is why my chest looks a lot smaller.  Now I am a little panicked.

This whole weekend was rough for me between the contractions and the pressure of the baby falling out, I could barely walk.

I go to Magee today for my 11:OO appointment and they don't call us back until 12:20, what is the point of having a appointments if you still have to wait forever?? It is not like I don't have to go to work today or anything!!! So they finally get us back there and I absolutely loved our sonographer, unlike the past 2 girls who had NO PERSONALITY, she was bubbly and willing to show us, and explain everything she was seeing to us. I may just have to write a letter about her because she was so nice.

Well I am 30 weeks 1 day and the baby is measuring 4lbs 12 oz. (no I do not have gestational diabetes), is totally head down and ready to go, well after talking to my friend who works for my old OB she said that the baby usually doesn't drop until the last 2 weeks of your pregnancy and that he was head down ready to go was a little concerning as well, the good thing is that he is a fat little thing and will be able to hold his own if born after 32 weeks all but his lungs should be good! The funny part is the position the baby is in, head down and literally bent in half, his knees are touching his forehead. I will post pictures tomorrow!

So last night as I was sleeping, I woke up to the most horrid of all contractions that lasted for about 2 hours and I couldn't even roll over to time them the clock was on my night stand behind me. Eventually I fell back to sleep so they stopped, I have this fear that I am starting to dilate, with how painful they were last night, they had to do something!!!!

My soon to be 4 year old also was large for dates but not that large at 30 weeks, and he came at 35 weeks after many stays in the hospital to stop my contractions weighing in at 6 lbs 11 oz.. So I think this will be another preterm delivery!  Anyone else go through anything like this or have any thoughts as to why this baby is almost 5 lbs this early on?
