A little help from my friends

Hello. I am writing wondering if I can possibly get a little help from some of my cafemamas. I have a huge project due for school on May 11th. It has become a HUGE pain in the butt. I am traveling to all sorts of different hospitals, day care centers, libraries, etc. I am having issues with a section that I need to complete having to do with children's books. Who thought childrens books could make a task so difficult?!

 Here is my task... The set-up looks like this...

Title:________

Author:______

Publisher name, and city:____

Copyright date:______

-I have to have 5 kids books that support development of gender identity. (males and females in diverse roles) The kicker is that the copyright date has to be within the last 5 years.

I have searched ALL of my kiddos books, none of which were written in the past 5 years. I am on my way to the library today, but they have a lot of older books, so Im not sure I will have any luck there.

- I also need 2 childrens pictures books concerning children with disabling conditions. All of the same info is needed for these books. Copyright within the past 5 years as well.

 -I also need 3 kiddos books dealing with separation, divorce, remarriage, or blended families. Same info, past 5 years...

Thank you so much for reading my journal, and to anyone that can help me out with this. I will really really appreciate all the help I can get, as this is only about 1/10th of my actual project. wow... that sounds like a big task. nothing comes to mind off the top of my head but i will look tonight!

That is a big project to take on!  I've got a question, though:  A disabling condition, would this include cleft lip/palate?  Because if so, there are books this author on widesmiles.org, I believe.  It's not strictly a picture book, but it does have pictures.  If you can use it, let me know and I'll get you the link to be sure.  Good luck!
