Update on my friend April. She passed away.

My dear friend April passed away on the 13th. Her father is being very mean about the whole thing & will NOT let any of her friends attend the funeral , he also will NOT give out any information. I don't know why he is  being like this. Her friends were the ones there for her this whole time , not her parents. Her parents ditched her when she didn't make the decisions they wanted her too & now they are keeping US from her , when we were the ones to take her in & give her a family!! It makes me so sad because I KNOW that April would want all of us to be there...

Please leave a rose for her , since we , her friends , can't be there with her.

you should definately arrange a memorial for all your friends to gather and remember her.  I am sorry he is being so yucky but I am sure he is in shock.  Put yourself in his shoes...

Thank you all for your support. My friends & I have decided to hold a memorial for her if her father does not allow us to be there. I will update later if I get any more info.

I agree with PP. You can organize a memorial service in her memory or maybe start some kind of fundraiser for her favorite charity. I am sorry for your loss.
