I am Amazed!

I caught the end of the news right before my shift finished at work. Usually the news is filled with dreadful events guaranteed to make my clients sink into an ever darker depression. Tonight they saved an amazing  story for last. On to a stage in Britain walked a 47 y/o lady who had never been married, never had much of a life living in a small town in Scotland, the youngest daughter of elderly parents who spent her entire life caring for them, never even taking time to be kissed. She sang in her local pub and in church. You could hear the laughter, thoughts like oh this will be good...She was dressed in a simple dress perfect for the middle aged house wife, plain of face and humble in demeaner with a touch a sass just to make it interesting. Then she opened her mouth....the audience went wild, my mouth dropped and we all listened to this woman sing with the voice of an angel. Forget the economy, forget the state of the world....here was this woman's incredible voice wiping all else away for a moment. Simon Cowell was entranced.....I don't think I have ever seen that look on his face. So yes folks...there are still amazing things out there and Susan Boyle is one of them,..Britain's national treasure unwrapped for all the world to see....the best things don't always come in bright, shiny expensive packages....here is a link....I hope it works...if not google Susan Boyle and listen for youself.

I too heard a bit of this womans voice tonight. It was simply breath taking.
