Recently my family has been going through some changes. Some good, some bittersweet, none are really bad.
The biggest change is Michael leaving for Air Force Basic Training. Today was his last day at work and he has ten 10 days off to spend with Tristan and me. He's happy and sad all at the same time. I'm having to learn how to do things without him. I have depression and anger problems and I've always been able to hand things over to him for a bit when it became too much. Now I'm going to have to work it out myself. It makes me appreciate him so much more.
Just being away from him is going to be a big change. In the almost 3 years we have been together, we have never been apart for more that a day or two. I know it will make us stronger and learn to appreciate each other more.
We've also moved. We no longer live with my dad. We have our own place now. Its only a little studio apartment. Its cramped and crowded but its ours. We have a dog who Tristan loves. Mike and I think she's a pain in the ass but she's sweet so she's ours.
We're also trying to "green" up our life. Tristan and I are going to slowly transition over to eating only vegetarian. Mike won't touch a veggie with a 23 foot pole. We're going back to full time cloth diapering. I have no excuse not to. lol.
Tristan's going to be starting swim lessons in June and he's going to go to daycare two days a week (so I can keep my sanity lol.) He's talking tons and just starting to walk. Its hilarious. I think he looks like a baby chimp when he walks.
Thats our life right now. Its definitely changing, but for the better.

I just recently became a vegetarian too. I haven't made a decision on Forest yet though. He hasn't had meat since I switched, but I don't think I am going to completely restrict him. I'll have to see.
If you need any moral support, I'm here!
