Hi,

I have a 13 and 15 year old step sons. They do the same thing. The only thing i have found that worked was date night. I or my husband takes one of them after dinner to the coffe shop, grocery store with us, talk to them, focus on them for a change (not that you dont already, but that was the proble)m we were having. we would do that 2-3 times a week. With team work it can be done. that way they aren't fighting for your attention! Hope this helps.

I feel ya, dear! My older boy is great, so to himself. The 15 month old, it hell on two feet. My husband helps out a lot for me to catch up with my sanity. And got my mother to help me every couple of weeks with the house work. Just hang in there. I know it feels like forever because you put up with everyday, but find a way to reconnect with your self. Do something you like. . . anything, that would make you smile and breath for a little while. . . That let's you step outside of the craziness for bit, and find out how you got here. Then you fill recharges again. Thinking of you. . . .
