You were born with wings upon your back

You touched so many here  on earth

We would have loved to keep you here

Now in Jesus' arms you sway

So many prayers were said for you

Before God took you away

 

They say the ones who inherit the Kingdom

Would be the ones who are so meek,

Enjoy the blessed streets of gold
