I Think, Therefore I Write.

Whimsical musings from an ecclectic mind

$I have always been drawn to Wizards and mystical things.  It started off with my fascination with "Fantasia" and seeing Mickey Mouse as a Wizard with a really cool Wizard hat.  I wanted a hat like that SO BAD so I could make up cool potions and make magic, too.  As a child, most of my daydreams and stories were of me being a Wizard.  I remember going to Disneyland when I was like 7 and looking all over for a magic Wizard hat, to no avail.  I was heartbroken, but determined to get one somehow.

Fast forward 17 years to our family Disney World vacation. This was my chance to make my own magic and finally get my really cool Wizard hat.  Modesty flew out the window when I happened to catch one in store window for sale as a Christmas stocking.  I actually jumped up and down, all but shrieking "THERE'S MY HAT!  I FINALLY FOUND IT!!!"  I didn't give a Tinker's DAMN that half the park turned around to look at a 24 year-old woman acting like a kid, hollering about a stocking, for Chrissake.

This procurement of said Wizard hat was a very profound moment in my spiritual growth, you see.  It was at that time I discovered if I wanted something bad enough, it would find its way to me.  I was determined from that point forth to put crystal-clear intention on what I wanted, and then focus on it every single day.  Not just thinking of the object or situation, mind you, but FEELING the emotion associated with getting it like it is already mine.

I learned that day that if you can dream it and feel it, you can create it.  If you can get to the place in your soul where you can visualize having it as well as feeling like you already have it, it's already yours.  Once you incorporate the excitment and feeling into the visualization, the Universe begins the shipping process.

My meditation and visualization practice has become the home of my Alchemy lab.  Sometimes I even put on my stocking slash really cool Wizard hat whilst visualizing so the feeling of creating magic is that much more real.

Try it.  Really cool Wizard hat is optional, but ideal for best results. :)
