How do I get my township to do what they said they would at a township meeting???
I went to a township meeting and asked for deaf child signs and extra speed limits signs on our road - more than a month ago. It's transcribed in the minutes of the meeting. The deaf child signs are ordered and sitting in the township building but no one will put them up. They are also supposed to put up extra speed limits signs (our road is posted 35 but it's common for tankers to motorcycles to take it at 75 - no kidding they've been clocked).
We have provided all the necessary medical documentation about the signs. We've been patient. We're checking every other week on the status. We even did the leg work from the PA State Police about how many signs and how far they need to be spaced in order for the police to legally stop and ticket the speeders. We've done it all for them EXCEPT order the signs and put them up. Are we expected to do that for them too???
How do I get them to do what they've agreed to? I called our State Representative's office and they said "no one higher than the township supervisors control what the township does", so calling the state rep's office was a waste of time. The state rep's office told me to vote out whoever is in the positions next election - right...I'm one person and it's not going to solve the sign issue right now, is it??
I'm at a loss. If anyone has any ideas, please help me...
