I am proud of my children. I have five kids. I consider them gifts from the Creator. (better known to some as God) They are here not only for me to teach, but for them to teach me. I have always believed that people as well as family relationships are formed for this reason.

This afternoon, my oldest daughter, Jo, was involved in a two vehicle car accident. She wasn't in either of the cars. She was a pedestrian, just happened to be in a wrong place at the wrong time. But maybe it was her usual route home from school. She was hit by both vehicles as they collided with each other. She got away just being banged up and no broken bones. She is at home, sleeping.

I thank God for that. Thank you, Lord for protecting my daughter.

I live over a thousand miles from my daughter. She lives with her dad. I am so grateful that he and I can get along for the sake of our two kids. I am glad that he doesn't cut me down in front of them, or I do that to him. They come to see me whenever they can, and he is ok with that.

In other news today, I have finished my confirmation class. I am so happy about that. Even though I have received bad news today, I am also happy.

Life is too short to be spent on arguing about petty things.

Life is too short to hold grudges.

Love one another. Watch out for each other. Tell someone you care about that you love them. Call up that person you haven't heard from and were waiting for them to call. They may be waiting on you.

You have the power. Use it. Ask for forgiveness if you must. Forgive yourself if you need to.

Hug your kids and tell them you love them all the time. I wish i could hug my daughter right now....
