Well ladies, CafeMom has totally changed my life. Not only have I met some wonderful women on here, but I've met wonderful women who share my passions in life -- photography and children.
Several of us got to the point where we would chat not only on CM, but on yahoo as well. We know each other's first names, each other's kids' names, what's going on in our lives, as well as our business ventures. We all support each other in our arts. One day while chatting back and forth, another one of the ladies & I came up with the idea to create a photography magazine named after our close CM group. We are now in the process of creating this magazine, and the first issue will go out on June 1st. Issues will be bi-monthly, so there will be 6 issues a year.
What does this mean for you?? Well, the magazine will have themes every issue. Not EVERYTHING in the magazine will be directed towards the theme, but many articles will be. We will have tips in the magazine to pertain to pro photographers AND regular ol' mamas like you who just love taking pictures of your babies. We will feature pictures and stories from readers, ads from readers (do you make handmade goodies? props? We have VERY LOW ad rates!!!), and tips & tricks to get your little one to cooperate with the camera while also taking better portraits. We want this magazine to be made by photographer moms, for the photographer in all of us. :)
