1. In a pinch, Scooby Doo shampoo works fine on gray hair.

2. It's harder to get out of the race car at Tomorrowland that it is to get in it.

3. A nervous giggle on a roller coaster at age 54 amazingly sounds the same as it did at age 12.

4. It takes an AIG Bonus to pay for dining and tips at Disney resorts and theme parks.

5. Geting out of the shower, taking regular peeks out of the window to see the wildlife grazing below as I dressed (we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge), and then discovering on the last day the little sign by the sliding glass door that warned cameras were in use 24/7

6. Eating African Bobotie for the first time and absolutely loving it (I STILL don't know what's in it)

7. The sit-down rides through the dark-Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan are great for quick naps. If Nemo had stayed lost a little longer, I would have scored some extra Z's in the "underwater" clam-mobile.

8. Wondering why the high-tech genuises at Disney can't solve the problems of long lines

9.The most poignant? Entering the space simulator and realizing this is as close as I'll get to the real thing
However, the little ones by my side will probably take their kids on orbiting vacations and trips to the moon.

9. The most amazing? The fireworks in the Magical Kingdom (I'm still a kid at heart)

10. My favorite? The World Showcase and dinner for Joscelin with all the Disney princesses

10.The most satisfying? The looks on my grandchildren's faces

More pictures to post later in the day as soon as Nanny D has more coffee and Ibuprofen

In this picture, Nanny D is still standing.
We had just arrived at our first theme park, The Magical Kingdom.
Little did I know the miles of pavement and ever- increasing bags of overpriced merchandise that lay ahead of us!

Loved reading this! I can sooo relate to all of it! We had the meal plan when we went and it was well worth every dollar we spent on it!!! I would love to go back!!!

How about the soaking rain showers??? I've never spent so many nights in a hotel laundry room drying out wet sneakers!

Oh, and Expedition Everest died with me on it! I had to walk down the interior of the "mountain"...not fun...! : )

Love your new tribal name too!!!

Now, go rest....rest peacefully!

: ) is all I can do ... I can not even imangine.. spending time.. at a theme park.. with my grands... by the time.. they take Gram-Me by the hand.. showing me the things in their... room.. this  Gram-Me is almost through .. lol .. holding babies.. until.. I think my arm might break .. waiting for naps ..for time to escape ..lol .. Then they are up.. with renewed energy .. finding something else for Gram-Me to see ... a push on a swing a ride on a bike ... rushing ever forward never thinking twice .. is Gram-Me still there .. only wanting to play and wanting to share .. all of the things.. they miss every day ... When Gram-Me is not with to play ....boy on a swing
