My take on James Dean

This post kinda follows the previous one, asking if James Dean seems "over rated" as an actor!---

He is so handsome, but honestly, I only know of one movie that he ever made.  Despite this, he is often categorized as a Hollywood Legend.  Did he win any acting awards? How many movies did he actually star in? 

To me, James Dean is like the number one classic pin-up boy!  The few times I have questioned his actual "career" women snap at me.  It happened again, recently at a vinyl record store called, Chaos Records.  His posters and shirts were EVERYWHERE just like the Beetles, Elvis, and Marilyn Monroe's. 

When I asked the lady what the movies were called that he made she could only recall one of them, and then got defensive and said that he would have made more but he "died so young!".  It was like my mommy scolding me. LOL

Don't get me wrong, I think he is just as hot as the next girl, but it annoys me that he is seen as a legendary ACTOR.  I would like to think of him as MORE THAN a pin up guy, if he deserves the credit. :-)
