Ginny's Secret Stuff

Just me, tellin' it like it is.......

Some people just cannot count, I guess.

How many "last chances" do I get?

How many times are they gonna call me to tell me that the warranty on my car has expired?

Each time the recording says:  "This is your final notice that the warranty on your car has expired."  It continues to say that this is the last chance I have to renew it.

hahahahahahahaha

These kind of calls entertain me now.  They used to frustrate me, but now I just laugh.

"They" need to do their homework before making these crazy calls.  What kind of an idiot do they think I am?

(Oh, you didn't say what I think you said, did you?  You didn't say, "I don't know; what kind of idiot are you?)

It's just so hysterical to me.  I wish it was a live person, so I could tell them how stupid that sounds!

Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooo!  My car is a 2001, and the warranty expired long ago!

I wonder if anyone really falls for these calls.  Very sad if they do.  It's understandable when people are going through difficult times and are vulnerable.  That's what "they" are counting on.

Okay, so let's assume for a moment that you drive a newer car than mine, and that you do still  have a warranty.  And, possibly it's about to expire.  Hmmmmmmm, do you really think that some automated recording is going to call you to tell you this?

Uh, NO, I don't think so.  I mean, NO, they won't.  That's just not the way it works.

If you have any doubts, just call you car dealer and check it out.

I've also gotten the automated recording that tells me that they understand that my mortgage payments are overdue and that I've missed a few payments, and THEY CAN HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEMS!!!!!

Ummmmmmmmm - really?????  My husband has had this house since 1972 and has NEVER missed or been late with a payment!

This one really bothers me, because there are so many people that are having financial difficulties right now, and these companies are preying on people in their times of frustration.

I used to just hang up as soon as these calls would begin.  But, my boss told me that if I just listen to the message, at the end it gives you an option to "press 2 to be removed from the list" or "press 2 to decline their fantastic offer", or whatever.

Yeah, well, I've been doing that.........................

and STILL I keep getting these "last chance" offers!

Oh, there are just so many scams now - more than ever.  I just don't want to see my friends get caught in any of these webs of deception.

I will be writing more on this subject later.  But, for now, PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!  Do NOT ever give out any information to someone who calls you, regardless of who they "say" they are!

Think about it very carefully.  If they say they are from your bank and want to verify information......................well, here's what I say to them:

"If you are really from my bank, then you should have that information, so I'm not giving it to you; just look it up in your records."  They usually hang up on me at that point.

Just stay one step ahead of the scammers.

As I said, I'll be back with more on this subject.

The calls coming to my cell phone (which ticks me off anyway) always come from a 702 area code and begin with a woman's recorded voice urgently saying, This is the second notice...

I'm glad it's impossible to be rude to a machine, but what I'd like to say can't be put into print.

I heard so many scams everywhere.

No company should ever call you to get your personal info... That's a RED flag there!

my mother gets the same call on her cell phone at least 5 times a day. She has told a LIVE person to remove her 2 times yesterday aloneonly to receive another call less then 2 hours later with the same recording. She called it back today and found out it is an INTERNATIONAL number... Talk about a high bill if it had gone through on her cell phone. I am calling the company tomorrow and see what we can do about it cause she is 71 and does not need this crap

Irritating but funny.  Yes, we also get these warranty calls.  I wish I still had a warranty on my car...lol.  Great post Ginny.  It is very sad that so many people are falling into this type of trap.  Just pisses me off what these scumballs are doing to people that are already hurting.  Wow, where did that come from??????  Hormones...gotta love 'em :)  Have a beautiful day and keep smiling.  I love you.  xoxo

Lets track down the addresses of where these calls are coming from...(A Call Center in Las Vegas), and plan a road trip...

Manpower Professional is the one who HAS PLACED THOSE TEMPORARY WORKERS....also, Ford Credit...thats Manpower Professional , also.
